About Me

My photo
Hi, I am Georgina Cook! I blog because I relish in "sharing what I love". While there are so many things in life that I love (Cath Kidston, Galaxy chocolate, my husband's eyes, eBay, plucking my eyebrows (i just do...) , and Christmas morning), this blog will focus on my greater passions: crafting, going cool places with my hubby, shopping, decorating and every day life lessons.

Bunting Lantern

Coooor! I have finally finished my project. I have been at it most of the day. I am EXTREMELY pleased with the result!!! Soooo as always here is your tutorial!!!
You will need:
Some sort of lantern
Scissors
Colourful fabric
Glue Gun (and a few glue stick refills)

1. I used a lantern from Ikea called 'Regolit'. They are something ridiculous like £2.... pretty good huh?!

2. If you want something similar to mine, then get your glue gun and put ribbon all around it. As you can see from the second picture Ikea have been extra kind and given a little outline so just follow their wire and it looks real good. Make sure you put a dab of glue every 2 inches otherwise you get gapes... use more if you aren't protective over your glue sticks.... hehe... I am really bad I am so frugal.... I am having to get into the frame set that it is actually okay to use my glue sticks and pretty fabric and not save it forever so it lasts... please tell me i am not the only one?!!

3. Cut out ALOT of mini triangles. Try and keep them roughly the same size!!  Use lots of different fun coloured fabrics that look good together!

4. Stick them allllllll on!

5. Hang it VERY proudly in your home!
